THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO WRIT APPEAL NO.866 OF 2016 AND WRIT PETITION NO.27395 OF 2016 COMMON JUDGMENT: {Per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan} Sri S.Lakshminarayana Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for GVMC, (the appellant herein) submits that the petitioners filed the present Writ Petition suppressing the fact that they had earlier filed WP.No.24035 of 2016 for the very same relief. Sri E.V.V.S.Ravi Kumar, learned counsel for the respondents-writ petitioners, would fairly state that the reliefs sought for in both the Writ Petitions are more or less identical.

While we were initially inclined to proceed against the respondents for having filed the second Writ Petition suppressing the factum of their having filed WP.No.24035 of 2016 earlier, Sri E.V.V.S.Ravi Kumar, learned counsel for the respondents-writ petitioners, would submit that the writ petitioners are poor individuals having small extents of land and this Court may permit them to withdraw the present Writ Petition.

Writ Petition No.27395 of 2016 is dismissed as withdrawn, and Writ Appeal No.866 of 2016 is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand dismissed.
