CVNR, J & TA, J WP.No.39305 of 2018 Dt: 28.11.2018 Judgment: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed for the substantive relief: "to issue a writ, direction or order more particularly, in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondent nO.1 in passing the Award dated 21-06-2018 in PLAC No.85/2017 as illegal, arbitrary, violative of the provisions of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 and consequently, set aside the same."

On the initiative taken by Mr.J.Prabhakar, learned Counsel for the petitioners, the latter have agreed to pay a sum of Rs.23 lakhs in all including interest to respondent No.2. Respondent No.2 has also accepted the said offer. The learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that within one week, his clients will make payment of Rs.23 lakhs to respondent No.2.

In the light of the understanding reached between the parties as above, the Writ Petition is disposed of, without adjudicating on merits, by modifying award, dated 21-06-2018, in PLAC.No.85 of 2017 on the file of respondent No.1 to the effect that the petitioners will pay the sum of Rs.23 lakhs within one week towards full and final settlement of all claims of respondent No.2 against them.
