HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT W.P. No.36715 OF 2017 ORDER:

Accused in FIR No. 96 of 2016 is the writ petitioner. The complaint of petitioner is that the respondents are under obligation to undertake investigation expeditiously and recognise the right of petitioner under Article 21 of the Constitution of India. Therefore, the prayer is for expeditious completion of investigation in FIR No.96 of 2016.

The Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that respondents 2 and 3 have completed investigation and the final report in the matter would be filed within 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The statement is placed on record and the writ petition is disposed of accordingly. The petitioner is given liberty to send copy of this order to respondents 2 and 3 for timely compliance. No order as to costs.
