This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C to quash the proceedings against the petitioners / A.2 & A.3 in Cr.No.208 of 2016 on the file of Station House Officer, Thirumalayapalem Police Station, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 417, 420 of IPC and Section 6 of POCSO Act, Section 3 (1) (w) (i) and Section 3(1)(s) of SC & ST (PoA) Act, 1989.

The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the police investigated into the matter and filed charge sheet and hence the subject matter of the present Criminal Petition has become infructuous. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
