This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/ accused No.2 seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.162 of 2016 of Karimnagar III Town Police Station, Karimnagar District, registered for the offences alleged under Sections 408 and 381 read with 120B I.P.C.

Heard learned counsel for respondent No.2/ complainant and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing respondent No.1/ State. Perused the record.

Though the matter is posted today under the caption 'for orders', there is no representation for the petitioner/ accused No.2.

In the F.I.R., dated 19.07.2016, there are allegations of commission of theft as well as criminal breach of trust. It is too early to say that no theft, as alleged in the report, dated 19.07.2016, was committed. There are sufficient grounds to investigate the case for the offences alleged under Sections 408 and 381 read with 120B I.P.C. The petition is devoid of merit and is liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
