HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT W.P.No. 36406 of 2017 O R D E R:- The petitioner prays for the following substantive relief:- " ....Writ of Mandamus by declaring the action of respondent No.3 in not registering the Crime basing on the complaint dated 25.01.2016 lodged by the petitioner and not conducting the investigation, as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to Section 154 of the Criminal Procedure Code and consequently direct respondent No.3 to register the crime basing on the complaint dated 25.01.2016 lodged by the petitioner."

The Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing on behalf of the respondents, basing on instructions, submits that the progress or outcome of the complaint dated 25.01.2016 will be informed to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner, if is aggrieved by such communication, can work out his remedies in accordance with law. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
