Heard Ms B.Sapna Reddy, counsel for petitioner and the Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

The petitioner, aggrieved by the inaction in conducting enquiry in FIR.No.16 of 2017, has filed the instant writ petition for appropriate directions. The Assistant Government Pleader (Home) places on record the written instructions dated 09.11.2017 and submits that on account of petitioner not providing the particulars of accused, there was some delay in expeditious completion of investigation. The petitioner, if cooperates, the report will be filed within two (02) months from today.

The statement is placed on record and the writ petition is disposed of, as follows:

The 1st respondent as stated completes the investigation and as and when necessary he is also given liberty to call upon the petitioner to furnish details of accused etc., and file final report within two (02) months from today. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
