Heard the counsel for petitioner, and the learned Government Pleader for Services-II, for respondents.

The petitioner herein has filed the present Writ Petition alleging that he was placed under suspension on 23.11.2016, and that there was no review of the suspension every six (06) months; and this is arbitrary and illegal.

The learned Government Pleader for Services-II, appearing for respondents, has produced proceedings dt.31.10.2018 showing that there was a review of petitioner's suspension, and he was reinstated into service pending finalization of the police case registered against him.

Having regard to the said proceedings, the counsel for petitioner does not wish to pursue the Writ Petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
