THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION No.22303 of 2014 ORDER:

The petitioner prays for the following relief:- "..... to issue a writ or order or direction more in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents not to provide security from committing theft of fish of Chalivagu tank pertaining to the Pedda Kodapaka Fishermen Cooperative Society Limited, Shyampet Mandal, Warangal district as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India; while issuing a consequential direction to the respondents to provide protection to the fish wealth of Chalivagu tank of Pedda Kodapaka Fishermen Cooperative Society, Shayampet Mandal, Warangal District from theft or any other loss or damage to the fish in the interest of justice and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

From the prayer, it is evident that the relief sought for relates to 2014-15. With the passage of time, this court is of the view that the cause in the writ petition does not survive.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
