HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.2929 OF 2002 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 1st respondent in not considering the case of the petitioner for absorption in terms of B.P.Ms.No.36, dated 18.5.1997 and all the subsequent memos including the Memo dated 10.5.1999, as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently, to direct the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for absorption into the AP TRANSCO in terms of B.P.Ms.No.36 dated 18.5.1997.

When this matter is taken up for hearing, it is informed by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents that the case of the petitioner was considered and rejected during the pendency of this writ petition by way of a speaking order dated 29.8.2007 and therefore, no orders need be passed in this writ petition. 3.

In view of the above submission, no directions can be given to the respondents in this writ petition. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the rejection order, dated 29.8.2007, he is at liberty to challenge the same.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
