ORDER:

The petitioner herein was granted authorization to run Fair Price Shop in Godgonpally, Hamlet of Dornalpally Village vide order dated 17.05.2013 and the said authorization was cancelled. Aggrieved thereby, the affected party preferred an appeal before the Collector (Civil Supplies) and obtained stay. On consideration of the rival claims, the Collector, Ranga Reddy District passed orders dated 22.10.2013 holding that appointment of the petitioner was not done duly following the provisions and guidelines as mentioned in G.O.Ms.No.4, dated 19.02.2013 and the authorization of the petitioner was suspended, remanding the matter to Special Grade Deputy Collector & Revenue Divisional Officer, Chevella Division and further directed to appoint the F.P.Shop Dealer duly following the guidelines issued by the Government. Alleging inaction of the Special Grade Deputy Collector & Revenue Divisional Officer, Chevella Division in not taking further steps as directed by the Collector (Civil Supplies), this writ petition is filed.

On instructions, the learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that due to subsequent formation of the new districts and redistribution of Revenue Divisions, there is dislocation of work and file could not be traced and requests

sufficient time to be granted to the competent authority to pass orders as directed by the Collector (Civil Supplies). Having regard to his submissions, the Revenue Divisional Officer, is directed to take further steps as directed by the Collector (Civil Supplies) in File No.A7/813/2013 dated 22.10.2013 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Writ petition is accordingly disposed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
