Heard Sri P.Narasimhulu for petitioner and the Assistant Government Pleader (Home) for respondents.

The non-registration of FIR on complaint dated 09.11.2017 is questioned in the writ petition.

The inaction if any by the respondents is appreciated, firstly if acknowledgment of sending the complaint is brought to the notice of the Court and secondly, in cases like this, the complainant should also give sufficient and reasonable time to police to take up either enquiry or investigation as is warranted. The petitioner cannot set the time line, as if grave and serious offence has happened. For the above reasons, the writ petition fails and is accordingly dismissed. No order as to costs.
