Heard Sri Narasimha Murthy for petitioners and the Assistant Government Pleader for Home.
The writ prayer reads as follows :- " ..... to issue a Writ, order or direction, more particularly a Writ in the nature of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent, the Station House Officer, Tandur Police Station, Tanduru, in not issuing protection to the workers as well as the tenants of 5th respondent institution from the respondent Nos.7 to 14 in the premises bearing Municipal D.Nos.6-1-22, 6-1-23 and 6-1-23/ 1 in Sy.Nos.22, 23 and 23/ 1 situated in Tandur Municipal Limits, Vikarabad District, as bad, illegal...." .
The counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner is satisfied if the representation, dated 06.10.2017 is directed to be considered and disposed of by 2nd respondent. The Assistant Government Pleader (Home) submits that as the representation is acknowledged, the 2nd respondent may be directed to dispose of the representation within reasonable time. I am satisfied the writ petition can be disposed of by this order.
(a) The petitioner is given liberty to re-submit representation dated 06.10.2017 to the 2nd respondent, by
enclosing a copy of this order, within two weeks from today.
(b) The 2nd respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation, in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks thereafter.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
