The petitioner complains against inaction in undertaking investigation in FIR No.711 of 2016 dated 23.11.2016, as illegal and unconstitutional.

The Assistant Government Pleader basing on written instructions dated 31.10.2017 submits that investigation by respondents is completed and a letter is addressed to 2nd respondent for filing a report under Section 173 of Code of Criminal Procedure. He requests four (04) weeks time from today, to complete the process of getting permission from the Commissioner of Police for filing report. The statement is placed on record.

Writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
