Heard counsel for petitioners and the Government Pleader for Services appearing for respondents. 2.

Petitioners' grievance is that the respondents have not considered their applications dt.02.06.2017 and dt.12.08.2017 seeking compassionate appointment for the 2nd petitioner, whose father was appointed as permanent employee in police force and died on 29.10.2015. 3.

The Government Pleader for Services appearing for respondents states that the 2nd respondent will consider the above representations within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision to the petitioner.

In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider petitioners' representations dt.02.06.2017 and dt.12.08.2017 within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs. 5.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending if any shall stand closed.
