ORDER:

This contempt case is filed alleging wilful disobedience of order, dated 25.02.2013, in W.P.No.22503 of 2012. The admitted facts of the case show that the respondents have failed to adhere to the time stipulated by this Court for completing the land acquisition process.

The earlier contempt case, namely, C.C.No.1653 of 2013, was closed by this Court by granting six months' time for implementation of the order in W.P.No.22503 of 2012. As the respondents failed to complete the acquisition proceedings even during this period, the petitioners filed this contempt case. This Court has ordered personal appearance of respondent Nos.3 and 4 and they are accordingly present in the Court. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Roads & Buildings submitted that a sum of Rs.85,00,000/- was sanctioned and

the Special Deputy Collector (LA) IPT & Railways, Khammam through his letter, dated 20.07.2015, addressed to the Executive Engineer, R & B Division, Kothagudem informed that the said sum was received from the Pay & Accounts Office on 17.07.2015.

The learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition (TS) submitted that as the compensation amount was received by the Special Deputy Collector (LA), he will immediately initiate acquisition proceedings and complete the same within three months. In the light of this firm assurance given by the learned Government Pleader, the contempt case is closed with liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh contempt case in the event the time limit is not adhered to.
