HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.34650 OF 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in not considering the petitioner for promotion to the post of DSP (Civil) without reference to the criminal proceedings in C.C.No.88 of 2015 on the file of II Additional Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases at Hyderabad as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard both sides.

The Government has issued guidelines in G.O.Ms.No.257, dated 10-06-1999 for considering the case of employees against whom disciplinary proceedings are pending. In view of the same, there shall be direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion in terms of guidelines issued in G.O.Ms.No.257, dated 10-06-1999.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of .As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
