This petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd and 3rd respondents in not considering the representation of the petitioner dated 14.06.2017 for appointment as Kerosene Hawker on compassionate grounds as per G.O.Ms.No.4, dated 28.02.2014, as illegal and arbitrary and for a consequential direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.06.2017 for appointment as Kerosene Hawker on compassionate grounds as per the aforesaid G.O. for shop Nos.2245004 and 2245005 of Madhira Village and Mandal, Khammam District.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Civil Supplies submits that the scheme of compassionate appointment as per G.O.Ms.No.4, dated 28.02.2014 has no application to the Kerosene Hawkers.

Since the representation of the petitioner dated 14.06.2017, is stated to be pending, it is for the competent authority to consider all the aspects and dispose of the representation of the petitioner. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed

of directing the competent authority to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law. No order as to costs.
