THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.30432 of 2016 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the inaction on the part of the respondents in considering the representation of the petitioner dated 03.05.2016, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondents. A perusal of the record reveals that the members of the petitioner association, who are B-Tech Agricultural Graduates, submitted a representation to the second respondent 03.05.2016 to implement G.O.Ms.No.574, Food and Agriculture (Agri-IV) Department, dated 30.07.1991 in order to fill up the posts of Agricultural Engineers with B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) graduates. The fact remains that so far the second respondent has not considered the representation of the petitioner. At the time of argument, the only relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner is to direct the second respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondents also consented for the same.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and also the submissions made by learned counsel for both parties, the second respondent is hereby directed to dispose of the

representation of the petitioner dated 03.05.2016 in the light of G.O.Ms.No.574, Food and Agriculture (Agri-IV) Department, dated 30.07.1991, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
