Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the respondent.

This writ petition is filed alleging that the building permission is not granted to petitioner to construct building in the place of old house bearing No.2-67 admeasuring 404 Square yards in Sy.No.416, Taramatipet Village and Gram Panchayat, Abdullapurmet Mandal, Ranga Reddy District.

The material on record does not disclose submission of application in the prescribed format. Annexure-G appended to Rule 14 (1) of Andhra Pradesh Gram Panchayat Land Development (Lay Out & Building) Rules, 2002 (for short 'the Rules'), prescribes proforma in which such application should be submitted. Since petitioner has not submitted application as required, it cannot be said that the Gram Panchayat is negligent in acting upon the application.
