In this writ petition, the grievance of the petitioner is that when the petitioner tried to open the web portal for making renewal of fitness certificate, the web portal is not accepting his request and therefore, he is constrained to seek a writ of mandamus by filing this writ petition. I have heard.

At the hearing, it is submitted that an identical issue is covered in W.P.No.9570 of 2017 and that the said writ petition was disposed of by this Court by an order dated 06.04.2017 and therefore, this writ petition may also be disposed of by passing a similar order in the interest of justice.

Having regard to the submissions and for the reasons alike as were mentioned in the aforestated order dated 06.04.2017, this writ petition is allowed directing the respondent authorities to allow the petitioner forthwith to submit his application through online and process the same as expeditiously as possible and complete the testing formalities within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that the respondent authorities may take action against the petitioner for furnishing the alleged fake address and getting his vehicle registered, in accordance with law.
