Guduru Satyanarayana, v. State Of Andhra Pradesh,

2018-12-03B.Siva Sankara Rao2 pages

HONOURABLE Dr. JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO Criminal Petition No.11458 of 2018 ORDER:

The petitioners are A2 & A3 in Crime No.691 of 2018 dated 16.08.2018 of Jeedimetla Police Station, Cyberabad, Rangareddy District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent No.1-State. 3.

One of the contentions of the learned counsel for the petitioners is that the allegations are vague against the petitioners (in laws) which are about dowry taken by A1, husband of the de facto complainant, in saying he was not liking and saying he wants to get rid of her and the in-laws are supporting him and ill-treating for her questioning as to why they cause performed the marriage when he is not liking and the other allegation is that when sent a word through local M.L.A's brother for mediation, they have gained time and A1 is not even coming to India and they are saying he will not come to India and they can do whatever they like and thus, they all deceived and ill-treated. 4.

Having regard to the above, this is a matter for investigation and not for quashing of the F.I.R. when truth or otherwise of the above requires to investigate.

Dr. SSRB,J Crl. P.No.11458 of 2018 Accordingly and in the result, this Criminal Petition is disposed of by left open all the defences. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
