This petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not continuing the services of the petitioners as contract labour in Kinnerasani Water Supply Scheme under Public Health Department through the new contractor or with the existing contractor, as illegal and arbitrary. When this matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that this matter has become infructuous, however, liberty may be granted to the petitioners to file a fresh petition, if they are not continued in service. Recording the above submission and granting liberty as prayed for, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
