HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR W.P.No.1122 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioner claims to be the absolute owner and possessor of the land admeasuring Ac.1-00 cents in Sy.No.519/2B situated at Rajampet Revenue Village, Kadapa District. It appears that the 3rd respondent has issued notice to the petitioner and to one Smt.Karra Lakshmidevamma and passed an order, dated 22-06-2010 rejecting the claim of both the parties, against which Karra Lakshmidevamma preferred an appeal before the 2nd respondent being Appeal No.B1/1959/1998, which is stated to be pending since 2011. It appears that a notice was given to the petitioner in the said appeal and thereafter, no orders are passed. Seeking early consideration and disposal of the said appeal, the present writ petition is filed. Learned Government Pleader for Revenue has received instructions, which state that the said appeal filed by Karra Lakshmidevamma is pending and submits that it would be heard and disposed of by the 2nd respondent at an early date.

In the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to give notice to the appellant as well as the petitioner by fixing the date of hearing of the appeal at an early date and hear and dispose of the said appeal in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within two moths from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. _______________________ VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR, J Date: 25-01-2016 Prv
