THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.3467 OF 2016 ORDER:

1. This petition is filed by the petitioners-accused Nos.1 to 5 under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No.694 of 2015 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Bhadrachalam, Khammam District.

2. The petitioners are alleged to have committed the offence punishable under Section 498-A IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. Heard and perused the material available on record.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the allegations made in the charge sheet, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought by the petitioners. However, the presence of the petitioners-A1 to A5 before the trial Court is dispensed with, except on the dates when their presence is specifically insisted by the trial Court. The petitioners are directed to be represented by a Counsel before the trial Court on all hearing dates.
