THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.35008 OF 2017 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri N.Praveen Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for the second respondent-Bellampally Municipality.

When the matter is taken up, reiterating the contents in the affidavit, filed in support of the Writ Petition, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner herein submitted an application on 28.08.2017 praying for mutation of his name in the municipal records but no action has been taken so far. Eventually a request is made by the learned counsel to direct the second respondent to consider the said application in accordance with law.

On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel that, if any such application is pending consideration, the same would be considered strictly in accordance with law. Recording the above submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directing the second respondent to verify the application, dated 28.08.2017, said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, and to take further action, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
