HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION NO. 1317 OF 2015 ORDER:

At the admission stage, the following order is passed. Having regard to the prima facie accusation contained in FIR to the effect that huge amounts were collected by accused from the public under chits, and as investigation is in progress, it is not a fit case to quash the proceedings.

The learned Public Prosecutor brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner/A2 earlier filed Crl.P.No. 16330 of 2014, seeking anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C, which was dismissed with an option to the petitioner to surrender before the concerned Court and make an application for bail. In view of the earlier order, while dismissing this Criminal Petition, the observation in the said order is reiterated once again. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
