THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.9535 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel for the second respondent.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a declaration that the action of the second respondent in not releasing the results of the examinations conducted on 13th, 14th and 16th of August, 2011, as arbitrary and illegal. The petitioners sought the above relief in order to enable them to submit their thesis, complete the process of evaluation of thesis and conduct Viva for the award of Ph.D. In spite of granting time from 07.04.2015 onwards, the second respondent University did not file any counter affidavit. It is not in dispute that the petitioners appeared for the examinations conducted on 13th, 14th and 16th of August, 2011.

In the circumstances, the second respondent University is directed to declare the results of the examinations conducted on 13th, 14th and 16th of August, 2011, so far as the petitioners are concerned. The learned Counsel for the petitioners has no objection to the extent of the relief granted in the present Writ Petition.

In the circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
