THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.36164 of 2017 ORDER:

In this writ petition, the grievance of the writ petitioner is that after the acquittal of the writ petitioner in the criminal case, his request vide representation, dated 05.10.2017, for renewal of the licence for Retail Sale of Toddy for Counter No.3, Bagepally Village, Renjal Mandal, Nizamabad District, is not being considered and disposed of by the respondents.

I have heard the submissions of Sri T. Sujan Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and of the learned Government Pleader for Excise appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. I have perused the material record.

Learned Government Pleader, on written instructions, would submit that the representation of the petitioner was already disposed of by a proceeding, dated 10.11.2017, of the District Prohibition and Excise Officer, Nizamabad, and that his request for renewal of TFT licence was not considered.

In view of the said orders, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this writ petition may be dismissed reserving liberty to the petitioner to pursue the remedies, which the law permits. 5.

Recording the submissions, the Writ Petition is dismissed reserving the liberty to the petitioner, as sought for. There shall be no order as to costs.
