ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the action of respondent No.3 in issuing E-Procurement Tender Notice in Roc. No.31/2015-E1, dt.19.10.2015 without providing reservations as per G.O. Ms. No.30, Municipal Administration and Urban Development (G2) Department, dt.18.1.2000, as illegal and arbitrary.
Mr. Mohammed Saleem, learned Standing Counsel for Municipalities (AP) appearing for respondent No.3, has fairly submitted that after issuing the tender notification respondent No.3 has realized that he has not followed G.O. Ms. No.30, dt.18.1.2000 and that he will provide reservation to the extent of 15% of sanitation work to the societies formed by the Sanitary Workers Unions without their participating in the tenders as envisaged under the above said G.O. In the light of this submission, which is placed on record, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.3 to scrupulously follow G.O. Ms. No.30, dt.18.1.2000. As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, interim order dt.26.10.2015 shall stand vacated and W.P.M.P. No.44804 of 2015 shall stand disposed of as infructuous. _______________________ C.V.
