ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed feeling aggrieved by order, dated 18.4.2016, in Original Application No.1448 of 2016 on the file of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad (for short 'the Tribunal').

The sum and substance of the grievance of the petitioners, who are the Divisional Accounts Officers (Works), Grade-II, working in different places in the State of Andhra Pradesh, is that without preparing the final seniority list in the cadre of Divisional Accounts Officers, Grade-II, the respondents have constituted Departmental Promotion Committee (for short 'DPC') and have been proceeding to effect promotions. The Tribunal, however, without ascertaining the true state of affairs has dismissed the O.A.

When this Writ Petition came up for admission and hearing before us on 09.6.2016, the learned Government Pleader for Services (Andhra Pradesh) has taken time to ascertain as to whether the DPC has been constituted for effecting promotions of the Divisional Accounts Officers and if so, whether the final seniority list has been prepared.

Today, the learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the seniority list of the Divisional Accounts Officers as on 16.5.2014, was prepared up to the panel year 2010 and that, all the petitioners, who are directly recruited to the posts of the Divisional Accounts Officers, having been appointed only in July, 2012, are not eligible for consideration for promotion up to the panel year 2010 and that therefore, the constitution of the DPC and the process of promotion would not in any way affect the interests of the petitioners.

Mr. M.Srikanth, learned counsel for the petitioners, submitted that in view of the above submissions of the learned Government Pleader, the apprehension of his clients stood allayed and that, no further adjudication of the Writ Petition is necessary. In the light of the above facts and submissions,

the Writ Petition is disposed of by placing on record the submissions of the learned Government Pleader for Services (Telangana State).
