The petitioner made an application to the 3rd respondent on 06-08-2012 seeking conversion of agricultural land into non-agricultural land in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.3-00 cents in Sy.No.337 (P) situated at Thimmapuram Village, Kakinada Rural Mandal, East Godavari District. It is stated that the 3rd respondent has called for a report from the Tahsildar and thereafter, no further steps have been taken. Alleging inaction, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

Keeping in view the fact that the petitioner's application is pending right from 06-08-2012, the 3rd respondent is directed to examine the aforesaid application in the light of the report already received by him and the other record and take appropriate decision expeditiously, preferably within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. _______________________ VILAS V.
