THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM Writ Petition No.2567 of 2015 ORDER:

The petitioner states that he submitted an application to the respondents on 17.04.2013, with a request to regularize a plot of land, bearing No.683, admeasuring 200 square yards in Survey Nos.192, 193, 195 part, 196 part, 201, 202 and 203 situated at Kukatpally Village, Balanagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, in terms of G.O.Ms.No.747, Revenue (U.C.I) Department, dated 18-062008. His grievance is that no steps have been taken thereon. Hence, this writ petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The Government itself evolved a scheme for regularization of surplus land, vested in it, if it is in possession of private individuals, subject to payment of certain amount. The petitioner availed that remedy and submitted an application, duly remitting the stipulated amount. An application of this nature cannot be kept pending, indefinitely. An early disposal would enable the applicant to enjoy the property, effectively.

Hence, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to process the application submitted by the petitioner on 17.04.2013, and pass appropriate orders, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also directed that till the application is disposed of, the respondents shall not evict the petitioner.

The miscellaneous petition filed in this writ petition also shall stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
