THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.36942 of 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the writ petitioner expressing a grievance that though he is a member of the 3rd respondent Co-operative Society, he is not being paid his share of dividend and that in that regard he submitted a representation, dated 23.10.2017, to the 2nd respondent - Superintendent, Prohibition & Excise, Gadwal, and that the same is not being considered and disposed of by the said Officer.

I have heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and of the learned Government Pleader for Excise appearing for respondents 1 & 2. I have perused the material record.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 & 2 would submit that the petitioner ought to have raised the issue in the General Body Meeting of the Society for redressal of his grievance instead of approaching this Court or submitting an application to the 2nd respondent.

Having regard to the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation, dated 23.10.2017, of the petitioner within a period of three (03) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, however, in strict accordance with the procedure established by law and communicate a copy of the decision taken on the
