HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.35104 OF 2017 O R D E R :

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in not releasing the power supply to the petitioner's property bearing Municipal No.7-1-215/A, (Plot No.2), admeasuring 1120.8 Sq.Yards, situated at Dharamkaram Road, Ameerpet, Hyderabad.

It is stated by the learned Government Pleader for Energy that the power supply is not released due to non-production of Occupancy Rights Certificate by the petitioner.

But, in identical cases, this Court directed the respondents to release the power supply to the authorisedly constructed building without insisting for production of Occupancy Rights Certificate. Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to produce the Occupancy Rights Certificate within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and in the meanwhile, the 2nd respondent shall release power supply to the petitioner's property. In the event of not producing the Occupancy Rights Certificate, within the time stipulated, it is left open to the 2nd respondent to take appropriate steps for disconnection of power supply. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
