Heard Sri P.Venkateshwer Rao, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri A.Ravi Babu, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents-Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (the Corporation, for short).

2. This writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in not allowing the 12/20 years Special Grade/Stagnation Increment to the petitioner as bad,

arbitrary and illegal, and contrary to the judgments of this Court and consequently direct the respondents to effect the 12/20 years Special Grade/Stagnation increment to the petitioner with effect from the completion of 12/20 years of service from his initial appointment by counting the out of employment period from the date of removal to the date of reinstatement (i.e. from 29-4-1992 to 25-7-1998) by paying concerned arrears entitled by him.

3. While setting aside the removal order dated 29-4-1992 passed by the Depot Manager, APSRTC, Suryapet Bus Depot, by an award dated 21-12-1996 in I.D.No.433 of 1993, the Labour Court-III, Hyderabad granted continuity of service and all other attendant benefits to the petitioner without back wages. Therefore, obviously he is entitled for 12/20 years stagnation increment as held by learned single Judge of this Court in W.P.No.24965 of 2007 in relation to a case involving identical issue.

The present writ petition is, therefore, disposed of in terms of the order dated 19-3-2008 in W.P.No.24965 of 2007 passed by the learned single Judge of this Court, directing the respondents-Corporation to release 12/20 years stagnation increment to the petitioner but not counting the service from the date of removal till the date of reinstatement. The miscellaneous petitions, if any,

pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs. ___________________ R.KANTHA RAO, J.
