THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.40988 of 2015 ORDER:
The grievance of the petitioner was that the police authorities failed to conduct investigation in Crime No.418 of 2009 on the file of Humayun Nagar Police Station, Hyderabad. Consequential direction was sought to quash the said crime wherein the petitioner was arrayed as accused No.3.
The Inspector of Police, Humayun Nagar Police Station, furnished written instructions dated 25.01.2016 to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein he stated that Crime No.418 of 2009 was registered under Sections 448 and 506 I.P.C. read with Section 34 I.P.C. upon the complaint made by one T.J.P.S. Vardhan. After due investigation, the police authorities found that sufficient cause was made out for proceeding further and accordingly laid a charge sheet before the learned VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, which was taken on file vide C.C.No.808 of 2010. The case was stated to be pending trial. In the light of the afore-stated developments, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for consideration. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
