Petitioner alleges that though 7.50 sq. yards of land was acquired by way of an award dated 06.11.2017, the respondent authorities are actually taking possession of land to an extent of 38 to 40 sq. yards.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue, on instructions, submits that only 7.50 sq. yards of land is being taken by the respondent authorities and no additional land of the petitioner is proposed for acquisition or taking possession. 4.

Having regard to the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities not to acquire the land in addition to the land already acquired by way of award No.8/2017-18/B, dated 06.11.2017, without following due process.
