Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Irrigation for respondents 1, 3 and 4 and learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondent No.2.

This writ petition is filed praying to declare the action of the respondents in permitting the 5th & 6th respondents and other plot owners in L.P.No.20/2010, in Sy.Nos.251/1, 251/2 and 254/2, to construct bridge on the Jaffar Saheb Canal at Sy.No.255.

Along with the counter affidavit a copy of the proceedings of Superintending Engineer, Irrigation Circle, Nellore dated 12.10.2018 is enclosed.

A reading of the said proceedings would disclose that on the application submitted by local residents and villagers of Allipuram and Nellore Rural Villages, permission to construct the bridge over the Jaffer Saheb Canal, was granted and construction activity was taken up in terms thereof. 5.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks leave of the Court to avail appropriate remedy against the proceedings dated 12.10.2018.
