The grievance of the petitioners is that, though revision was filed, under Section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Book Act, 1971 (the Act), before the Joint Collector, Visakhapatnam (second respondent) seeking correction of entries in the revenue records in respect of land admeasuring Ac.2.50 cents in Sy.No.364/1 situated at Madhuravada Village, Visakhapatnam District, to treat it as zeroithi land instead of government/assigned land, no action has been taken.

Heard the Learned Counsel for the petitioners, and the Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue (AP). Considering the fact that the revision is pending before the second respondent, ends of justice would be met if the second respondent is directed to dispose of the revision said to have been filed by the petitioners on 09.01.2014 within a period of four months from today.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of directing the second respondent to dispose of the revision filed by the petitioners on 09.01.2014 within a period of four months from today. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
