This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C to quash the proceedings against the petitioner in Cr.No.140 of 2014 on the file of Mandapeta Rural Police Station, East Godavari District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 448, 497, 323 and 506 of IPC. The learned counsel for the petitioner has filed letter dated 05.01.2016 in the Registry requesting to list the matter before the Court under the caption 'for withdrawal' and a submission to that effect has also been made in the Court today. Permission is accorded. 3 Accordingly this Criminal Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, pending in this Criminal Petition, if any, shall stand closed.
