ORDER:

The owners of the tractors and trailers bearing registration Nos. AP 22 AA 0562 & AP 22 AA 0563 and AP 22 AA 7801 & AP 22 AD 2847 filed this writ petition feeling aggrieved by the seizure of the said vehicles on 18.11.2015 by respondent No.2 for transporting sand without permit.

The grievance of the petitioners is that though they are willing to pay the prescribed penalty as per G.O.Ms.No.15, Industries & Commerce (Mines-I) Department, dated 19.02.2015, respondent No.2 has not been receiving their application for release of the seized vehicles.

In the light of the innocuous grievance of the petitioners, respondent No.2 is directed to receive the petitioners' application, if and when submitted, and dispose of the same, in accordance with the aforesaid G.O., within a period of three days of receipt thereof. As a sequel to disposal the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.73 of 2016 filed by the petitioners for interim relief shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
