The prayer sought for in this writ petition is as under: "..... to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus by declaring the action of the respondents in not providing information sought for by the petitioner herein through Right to Infomration Act in regard to acquisition of land in Bhavanipuram, Vijaywada for the purpose of road widening as illegal, arbitrary, unjust and contrary to the rules and consequently direct the respondent Nos. 2 to 5 to provide the information particular land acquired for Crombay Road, Bhavanipuram, Vijaywada and how much amount paid under compensation to the claimant Mrs.

Sk.Fajan Bibi Saheb".

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent No.2Corporation. When the matter is taken up, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent No.2- Corporation would submit that the application filed under the Right to Information Act by the petitioner, is not with the Corporation and as such, they are unable to issue any reply giving the information sought for by the petitioner. Therefore, he requests this Court to direct the petitioner to submit another application to the respondent No.2- Corporation. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner would submit another application seeking the information and the same can be considered.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the petitioner to submit a fresh application to the respondent No.2Corporation, within a period of three weeks from today and the respondent No.2- Corporation, in turn, should consider the same and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks thereafter. Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
