HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.4605 of 2015 ORDER:

This petition is filed by the petitioner - Accused under Sections 438 of the Criminal Procedure Code seeking to grant anticipatory bail to him in Crime No.63 of 2015 on the file of Cherial Police Station, Warangal District, registered for the offences under Sections 447 and 323 IPC and Section 3 (1) (x) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. Heard and perused the material available on record. The allegations alleged against the petitioner are under Sections 447 and 323 IPC and Section 3 (1) (x) of the SC & ST Act. A perusal of the record discloses that the petitioner abused the de facto-complainant in the name of his caste, slapped on his face and twisted his hand and threatened him with dire consequences. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
