HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR W.P.No.1516 of 2016 ORDER:

The petitioner states that he has filed Appeal No.A2/1926/2014 and the same is pending before the 3rd respondent since 30-12-2014. He states that though the appeal is posted for hearing on 30-01-2015, on that day, the appeal could not be heard and the matter was adjourned. He submits that even after lapse of more than one year, no further date of hearing is notified and the appeal still remains pending and requests for early hearing and disposal of the appeal.

Heard the learned Government Pleader for Revenue. In view of the fact that the appeal is pending from 30-12-2014, I deem it appropriate to direct the 3rd respondent to fix an early date of hearing, after notice to all the parties, hear them and then dispose of the appeal preferably within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. _______________________ VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR, J Date: 20-01-2016 Prv
