THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.39780 of 2018 O R D E R:

Petitioner asserts that though he submitted a representation on 07.08.2018 to the respondent-Corporation for furnishing certain information with respect to L.R.S. and B.R.S. covered by the land in Survey No.1094/1 of Mukarampura, Karimnagar Town, no information is furnished till today. Hence, he seeks a writ of Mandamus.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondent.

Having regard to the nature of grievance of the petitioner and as there is an effective mechanism provided for under the Right to Information Act, 2005, the writ petition is not maintainable.

In those circumstances, the writ petition is closed giving liberty to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy as available under the aforesaid Act.
