This writ petition is filed to declare the inaction of respondents 2 to 7 in considering the representation dated 2501-2018 to recognize the land to an extent of Ac.2-80 cents situated in sy.No.903 of Bommayyagaripally Village, Rompicherla Mandal, Chittoor District as non-agricultural purpose.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue produced written instructions stating that a Committee is constituted under the Andhra Pradesh Revision of market Value Guidelines Rules (Rules), framed in G.O.Ms.No.301, Revenue (Registration-2), dated 04-05-1998. Under sub-Rule

(2) of Rule 13 of the Rules, the joint Collector is the head of the Committee and necessary application has to be made to the Joint Collector. In the written instructions, it is also stated that case of the petitioner cannot be considered, but reasons are not given for non-consideration of his case. Since as per rules the Committee has to look into the grievance of the petitioner, it is open for him to make application to the Joint Collector in respect of his grievance for revision of market value and the Joint Collector is directed to take action in terms of Rules framed as per G.O.Ms.No.301, dated 04-05-1998.
