HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE B. SIVA SANKARA RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.2058 of 2014 ORDER :
This Criminal Petition is filed by the Petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 6 under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.128 of 2014 of Uppal Police Station, Cyberabad registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A I.P.C and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
2) When the matter came up for hearing, the respondent State represented by the Public Prosecutor submitted that in the above crime, the investigating authority referred the matter as lack of evidence and no cause survives for adjudication in this criminal petition and the same has become infructuous.
3) Recording the said submission, this criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
