This writ petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the impugned notice dated 10.02.2015 issued by the 1st respondent, as illegal and arbitrary and for a consequential direction to set aside the same.
The case of the petitioner is that he was issued notice dated 10.02.2015 by the 1st respondent asking him either to shift his 5 dogs from residential area or handover the same to the GHMC Dog Section located at Autonagar, L.B.Nagar, Hyderabad within 7 days from the date of receipt of the notice. In pursuance to the same, the petitioner made a representation dated 16.02.2015, but the respondents, without passing any orders on the same, are threatening to handover the dogs to the respondent-Corporation. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel the petitioner.
Learned Standing counsel for respondent-Corporation submits that the authorities will consider the representation of the petitioner and appropriate orders will be passed thereon. In view of the above submission, it is for the statutory authority to consider the representation of the petitioner. As such, the respondents are directed to consider the representation made by the petitioner and pas appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law. Till such time, status-quo obtaining as on today shall be maintained.
With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
