Bhosale) Sri B. Krishna Mohan, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that in view of the averments made in the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondents, dated 31.07.2015, the prayer made in the writ petition stands satisfied.

Public interest litigation is, therefore, disposed of as worked out. It is needless to mention that the respondents shall implement the Stray Dog Control Rules, 2001, as stated in the concluding paragraph of the counter affidavit.
